As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for business development in your territory and will participate in the formulation and implementation of strategies to achieve set sales objectives. You will propose the solutions and products offered by the company while addressing specifications and requirements specific to the industry they serve. Your understanding of the products, combined with your knowledge and experience in technical sales, will enable you to respond effectively and optimally to the specific needs of businesses, providing added value and benefits to their operations.
Your future responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business relationships that allow the company to stand out in the market;
- Actively seek out new clients through cold calling, networking, and leveraging industry associations within the GTA region;
- Inform clients about the features and benefits of products and services.
- Manage and coordinate activities to achieve commercial objectives;
- Meet with clients on-site to assess project needs, recommend suitable products/services, and build strong relationships;
- Serve as a liaison between clients, engineers, and crews to manage job changes or updates, issuing revised quotes as needed;
- Compile detailed equipment lists and perform cost calculations to support accurate and competitive quotations;
- Ensure a high level of quality in services offered to clients.
Your profile
- College degree in business administration, or equivalent;
- At least 3 years of proven experience in construction product sales or estimating roles within the construction sector;
- Strong experience in technical support;
- Positive and autonomous attitude;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly establish lasting relationships with clients and suppliers;
- “Hunter” type for new business;
- Hold a valid and up-to-date driver’s license.
